ACADEMIC PROGRAMME
The college, affiliated to the University of Gour Banga offers B.A. three years (1+1+1 system) Degree Courses at Honours and General level.

  10. Defence Studies - General
Note : Compulsory - Bengali, English & Environmental studies
Before seeking admission to B.A. 1st year Class of 2019-20 session, students must note the following carefully
  1. Only those students who have passed H.S. or equivalent examination after studying 10+2 from recognised regular Council / Board will be eligible for Admission to B.A. 1st year Honours and General course for 2019-20 Session. Students passing H.S. or equivalent examination from any private or open system will not be eligible for admission. For example, students passing H.S. or equivalent from Gwalior Board, Rabindra MuktaVidyalaya etc. (for General only) will NOT be eligible for admission. Only students of the Schools of Bamangola and Habibpur Blocks will be allowed for Admission to B.A. General Course
  2. Students who have passed H.S. or equivalent examination before 2017 will not be eligible for admission to B.A. 1st year Honours & General courses for 2019-20 Session
  3. 5% for 2018 and 10% for 2017 of merit position will be deducted per year of those students who have passed H.S. or equivalent examination before 2019

Merit List for Admission to Honours Course for B.A. 1st year class will be prepared as follow :
( Marks of subjected opted for honours + best five subjects including English and excluding EVS ) / 6

Merit List for Admission to General Course for B.A. 1st year class will be prepared as follow :
Total of best five subjects including English and excluding EVS

Merit List for Admission to Geography General Course for B.A. 1st year class will be prepared as follow :
Total of best five subjects including English & Geography and excluding EVS
Documents to be produced at the time of verification
Students are hereby directed to produce documents in original and one self attested Photocopy / Xerox of the same documents:
  1. Printed Application and Admission Form
  2. All Printed Fees Deposit Bank Challans (Original) or E-Receipts (For Online Payment)
  3. Age proof ( Admit Card of Madhyamik/ equivalent certificate) (Original)
  4. All original mark sheets (Original)
  5. School Leaving certificate (Original)
  6. Family income certificate from competent authority (Original)
  7. Proof for Physically Challenged Candidate (Original)
  8. ADHAAR Card (Original)(Not Compulsory)
  9. Original SC/ST/ OBC/ PHC Certificate (Original)
  10. One Passport size and one stamp-sized recent colour photo
